Overview of Icoone: What is it?

Icoone is a body and facial treatment developed by i-Tech Industries. This technology utilizes special handpieces to simultaneously massage and suction the patient’s skin to mobilize the deeper tissues in a robotic kneading and lifting movement that imitates a traditional human massage.

Icoone’s underlying technology is called Roboderm. Some variants combine a 650 nm LED and 915 nm laser diode. According to the U.S National Library of Medicine’s GUDID database, this device is registered as a massager.

How does the Icoone treatment exactly work?

An Icoone treatment involves three primary mechanisms: stimulation, drainage, and, in select variants, photorejuvenation. During a treatment session, the operator will use the handpiece to stimulate the targeted tissue by rolling and suctioning it rhythmically. At the same time, the suction will open the lymphatic vessels to help drain fluids in a maneuver similar to a manual lymphatic drainage. Lastly, in variants that utilize LED and laser technology, the operator can pass the handpiece over the skin again for a separate pass to deliver low-level light therapy.

Why Choose Us

What does an Icoone session involve?

An Icoone session typically involves a consultation, preparation, the treatment itself, and post-treatment instructions. The length of a session depends on the targeted areas and the selected package, but a body treatment typically takes between 40 and 90 minutes. The four stages are further discussed below:

Consultation:

During a consultation, the operator will ask you about your medical history, expectations of the treatment, and the problem areas that you would like to target.

Preparation:

The operator will prepare the treatment room and any necessary equipment for the session.

Safe & Effective

The operator will use the handpieces to rhythmically massage and suction the targeted areas.

Post-treatment instructions:

The operator will provide instructions for the healing process to support recovery and improvement. Some people may experience temporary redness or mark on the skin from a suction cup, so it is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and remain active.
